1. Focus on data protection: Your emails and customer data are secure with iQ.Suite
The list of companies hit by data scandals is getting longer by the day and includes increasing numbers of well-known suppliers and service providers. Recent events have not only worried consumers, but also damaged confidence in the affected companies. Legislators are responding ever more rigorously and in many countries, stricter laws have been brought into force and fines massively increased. For example, an amendment to the law governing data protection in Germany was enacted on 1 September 2009.
Companies are frequently unaware of how confidential data leaves their premises. Email is the main culprit, because outgoing email communication is likely to be neglected by IT security measures. This is where iQ.Suite steps in with a powerful set of rules and closes unwanted gaps in security. First of all, iQ.Suite Wall supports the classification of email content. Confidential data can be stopped before it is sent or, where the system interacts with iQ.Suite Smart, examined under the four-eyes principle. iQ.Suite Crypt ensures the emails are secure when they are sent, by encrypting and signing them. Even recipients without their own encryption solution can read and answer confidential emails thanks to iQ.Suite WebCrypt.
As you can see, iQ.Suite is a solution for every aspect of email security - and there is no need for any user interaction. Take a look at the numerous options our solution offers and contact us at sales@group-technologies.com.

4. iQ.Suite tips & tricks for Lotus Domino: Automatic encryption of outgoing emails with S/MIME
Any email and any attachment can be read or manipulated on the way to its recipient. Sensitive data which must be protected from access by third parties should therefore be encrypted automatically.
That means the sender and recipient need compatible keys: On the one hand, the sender has the public certificate for encrypting the outgoing email; on the other, the recipient can only decrypt the message with the correct private certificate.
We show you here how you can automatically use the public certificates that you already own to send sensitive data.
5. Exchange/SMTP Corner: Exporting imported S/MIME certificates automatically into a directory
The certificate manager is a cost-free function of iQ.Suite and allows you to distribute certificates and certificate revocation lists simply. One of the uses of the certificate manager is to exchange certificates via import or export between the iQ.Suite and the local file system.
Read here how to configure this function easily and which particular aspects you need to observe.
